Tourists in Manila usually prefer to stay around Ermita and Malate which offer many restaurants and bars that vary from the trendy to absolute cheap ones. During the night, you can make visit to tea and noodle houses in Chinatown which might not look fashionable and trendy but the food served is decent and delicious. In Intramuros, Ilustrado is an excellent restaurant where you can enjoy Spanish and Filipino cuisine. Superb dining can also be enjoyed in top hotels in the Makati and Malate areas.
